Smoking and strenuous activities are not advised after the procedure as they can prolong healing and can trigger bleeding.
Depending on the tooth extracted, it typically takes 7-14 days for it to heal completely. Most importantly, always observe good oral hygiene to avoid getting bacteria in the extraction site.
Regular tooth brushing and flossing should be continued, with extra care to avoid the extraction site. To clean this area, mouth rinses without alcohol are recommended.
